Gospel Light Baptist Church:
Who We Are
Gospel Light Baptist Church is a new church located in Scribner, Nebraska.
We are an independent Baptist church and are unaffiliated with any denomination or association of churches. We hold that the Word of God is the sole authority for faith and practice.
Our mission is that the Light of the Gospel be spread to all men everywhere, that they may know the transforming power of Christ. In all we do, we desire that the Lord be magnified, that sinners be converted, and that saints be edified in the Lord.

A Brief History

God called our pastor, Ryan Botterbrodt, to start a church in Scribner in 2022. This was the culmination of a couple of years of the Lord working in his heart about the need for a Gospel preaching, Baptist church in the community.
In January of 2023, the first Bible study was held in the Botterbrodts' living room. In July of 2023, we took possession of a building from a former church that had to close its doors. A little over a year later, on October 6th, 2024, Gospel Light Baptist Church was officially chartered, and we switched to a full service schedule. We are excited to see what God continues to do in Scribner and the surrounding area!
